Community is... spending time together in the rain!

Yesterday we held our first street party/BBQ in front of our regular meeting spot on Simeon St. The entire day the sky was looking dark, and we knew that rain could come at any minute. But the rain held back... until quarter to four, that is! Even with wind and rain, though, nearly 50 people came to the event. It was awesome to see neighbours mingling, getting to know each other, and sharing food together. Thank goodness we put up tents! Here are a few pics from the day.
